The service

Pearl translates texts with artificial intelligence models and keeps your work: books, chapters, translations, glossaries.

It is in closed beta: by invitation, free, with a daily character allowance shown in the header and in your account.

Your account

Your account is personal: use your own email and do not share your sign-in. You are responsible for what happens in your account. If you think someone else has your sign-in, reset your password: that ends every session.

Your texts

The rights to the texts you upload and to their translations stay with you or with their rights holders. We claim none of them.

You confirm you are entitled to upload and translate these texts: for your personal use, for example, or with the rights holder's permission. Pearl never looks for or downloads texts itself; it works only with what you upload.

You allow us to process your texts only to run and improve the service: to keep them, translate them, show them to you, pass them to the processors named in the privacy policy, and have the Pearl team look at them to improve translation quality. We do not train models on your texts or show them to other users.

What you may not do

• Upload unlawful material, or texts you have no right to translate where doing so infringes someone else's rights.
• Get around the invitations, the allowance or the service's security.
• Load the service with automated requests.
• Sell or pass on access to your account.

Translation quality

Translations are made by artificial intelligence models. They may contain errors, omissions and inaccuracies, especially in names and terms. Check a translation before publishing it or using it otherwise: how you use it is your decision and your responsibility.

The beta

The service is provided “as is”. We may change features and allowances, pause the service and end the beta. We will try to give notice of significant changes. Download translations that matter to you.

Ending

You can delete your account at any time in your account settings. We may close access to an account that breaks these terms.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits or loss of data arising from use of the service. During the beta the service is free.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Georgia; disputes go to the courts of Tbilisi.

Changes and contact

We will tell you about changes to these terms in the service or by email. Continuing to use Pearl after that means you accept the new terms.
